The calendar has been updated to with new times for practice. 5:30 till 7:30 Also parade gathering will be 4:15 at Robert Kerr. Parade to start at 5:00 pm and parents can pick up their child in Kerrs parking lot after the parade.
Welcome to the Durand Area Youth Football Website. The intent of this website is to establish a communication tool for parents coaches and kids. We the Durand Youth Area Football Board ( Durand Youth Football Area Organizational Chart) are volunteering our time and experience in life and sports to establish a foundation for our youth in Durand. If you have any questions regarding the program or the process please do not hesitate to review with the Executive board. Our focus is on the kids safety and also having fun too. Listed below is a copy of our bylaws that the board and all coaches abide by.
We are having early sings ups this year!! 1st sign up will be Thursday April 26th 5:30 to 7:30 at the HS weight room. 2nd sign up will be Sunday April 29th 1:00 to 3:00 at the HS weight room. $25.00 for football and $10.00 for Cheerleader non refundable holding payment is required if total payment cannot be made in full, for securing a position on the team. Total payment of balance is due by 1st week of practice. Any signups after April 29, 2007 is subject to a $15.00 late fee. We will be ordering new uniforms this year. The uniforms will be the same as the new Junior High School uniforms. Cost per child $75.00 per football player and $50.00 per cheerleader. A immediate family group discount of $10.00 per family member is available. Documentation needed for your child at signup (football and cheerleaders).
Physicals must be turned in before the first day of contact. If you are a parent and would like to volunteer with either Football or Cheerleading coach please complete this form and either forward it to a board member at practice or mail the form to the address listed above.
Below is the calendar for practice, meetings and games for both football and cheerleading. Please remember that this will update regularly. We will try to send out notices to the kids when the calendar and events change.
